“Over the last 30 years, Maui Tomorrow Foundation has worked in partnership with many community groups on issues vital to our quality of life, and to protect the ʻāina that we love,” said executive director Albert Perez. “From the creation of a 155-acre beach park at Mākena, to restoring flows to East Maui’s historic streams; from stopping proposed shoreline hardening at Olowalu, to stopping the extension of the Kahului Airport runway – everything that we have accomplished has been the result of our partnership with community. We encourage all those who would like to make their efforts effective to attend this webinar.”
