TOOLS FOR THE ‘ĀINA PROTECTOR: A Webinar to Empower the Community
Held via Video Conference on March 31, 2021

PURPOSE

This 90-minute online webinar is focused on teaching community members how to use the County of Maui’s online tools to inquire about development and land use activities in their neighborhoods and places of recreation. Participants were introduced to three different online tools:

  • the County of Maui’s Real Property Tax Assessment Website
  • the County of Maui Planning Department’s “GIS Map Viewer,” and
  • the County of Maui’s Online Land and Permit Information website.
In addition to learning how to use these tools, participants learned how to file a Maui County “Request for Service” (RFS) if they think illegal activity may be taking place.
