STAND UP! SPEAK UP! A Civic Engagement Webinar for ‘Āina Protectors

PURPOSE

This day-long online webinar was designed to help Maui community members learn how to effectively advocate for themselves, their families, their neighbors, and their island home at both the County and State levels. With facilitation provided by expert speakers, elected officials, and successful community activists, attendees were able to learn practical lessons and explore best practices when working to protect Maui’s land and ensure sound ecological practices.
