ADOPT THE MAUI ISLAND PLAN IN 2012
Honorable Maui County Council Members:
We the citizens of Maui County ask you to respect the long hours of work and compromise that has gone into the Maui island Plan by citizen bodies and the general public. Please pass the Maui Island Plan in 2011based on their recommendations. We need this Plan NOW to guide our future.
We support a Maui island Plan that has strong, clear policies and actions that can be implemented and enforced, and a plan with real numbers of units associated with planned Urban Growth areas. Good planning protects the future of Maui’s small towns and small businesses and saves money on infrastructure. Mahalo for Your Work for Maui’s Future.
