Hearing to continue over Waiale project

KAHULUI – The state Land Use Commission will continue its hearing on A&B Properties’ Waiale project in a meeting Wednesday.

The panel will meet at 10 a.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Alexa Higashi Meeting Room.

A&B has applied to reclassify 545 acres in Wailuku and Waikapu from agricultural to urban for a 2,550-unit subdivision.

The subdivision plan has changed from that which was accepted into the GPAC process.
